I have proof that we are the Hotel from Hell!!!

Our coffee pot is possessed by a demon... No really! It was sputtering (like talking in tongues), there was stuff spouting out the top (like foaming at the mouth) and there was water shooting out the bottom of it (like when that girl projectile vomits split pea soup)... So, the only logical conclusion is that the coffee pot is possessed by a demon... I think I will call him Bob...

One of out rooms has water all over the floor... don't know where it came from, but it is there... it was also there last year and they fixed what ever was causing the water to be there, but it happened again this year, so I don't know what is going on what that... either way, I was told not to rent that room... Ok... Thank you Captain Obvious?

There was no laundry left for me to fold or wash tonight... so Obie-1 (and I may have spelled that wrong) is Princess Leia for tonight, on her request... She likes that name better, but... I'm sorry, Obie-1 is what came to mind... But for Tonight... Princess Leia it is :)

On to the Maid issue... We had 3-4 maids to clean the hotel rooms, they averaged having about 14 rooms each on most nights, sometimes a few more. I have a friend that is a Maid also and she said that they can do 16 room properly with no problem in the allotted time... So anyhow... This one maid we have, Martha, doesn't clean rooms for crap, we are constantly getting complaints from guests about their showers being dirty, no towels, dirty sheets, and the floors not being vacuumed... BL talked to Martha about these problems to see if she could improve, she did not, BL talked to her again... Martha eventually went and talked to the head of Maids (I guess that is what she would be called) and said that BL was picking on her... so NOW, Martha gets to go clean a different hotel, because the people that own our hotel own a bunch more, so they just put Martha at a different hotel to clean there, fine, let her go NOT clean at a different place... BUT... Where is our replacement Maid?? Oh... we don't get one... We now have 2 maids to do the work of our previous 3-4, because Martha also got her friend to go with her... That is soooo going to help our hotel get cleaned... NOT...

I almost forgot! We have boy scouts!!! Big ones... like 20 year old boy scouts... well... they said they were boy scouts and I thought it was funny, cause when they went to fill out the Registration card they couldn't remember the licence plate number so I said to them "Wait a minute... I thought Boy Scouts were always prepared..." They thought it was funny also... At least they were polite and didn't call me Sweetheart or anything stupid like that...

I have got to go, this is actually my day off, I was just catching up on my blog before I forgot... I hope you all have a great day, don't drink Demon possessed coffee, if your hotel room is not clean and you are polite, they will often times give you a better room... so Remember... Manners count, and think about what you are saying to that person behind the desk... how do you know that chick is not a single mom, getting little or no child support, working at that lovely hotel to support her family the best she can and you just walked in on her second day of PMS, with no coffee, one of her kid's birthdays is next week, she just put the last of her money in her gas tank and some guy that looks like YOU cut her off in traffic on the way to work today...

Kind of makes you take a moment... doesn't it??
