If you are a Maid.. don't stay in a hotel.. EVER!!!

Hypothetical question... Now you KNOW this isn't really hypothetical... right.. cause it is on here... lmao...

If you had to make a choice between having a room with a hole in the wall... or dirty sheets... which one would you choose? I would go with not staying here... but that is just me...lol... No really... I would go with the hole in the wall... This lady comes up to my desk last night and asks for a set of sheets, and then says "Our first room had a hole in the wall and now this one has dirty sheets, this is just horrible... I just want to go to sleep..." So I got her fresh sheets and told her I was very sorry and that I would talk to my manager and let her know that the maid did not clean that room properly and I hope the rest of her stay was better and if she wanted me to I could move her to a different room... but she said she just wanted to go to bed.... and then she left...

So I little bit later my FAVORITE couple of the night walked in... they had a reservation for 3 nights... I got the Registration card out and had them fill it out, gave them the key to their room and then they told me that they were housekeepers for a hotel where they live and could they please have sheets and a clean blanket cause they know how it works (WTF does that mean?)... So I got them clean sheets and a blanket and sent them on their way, and that is when the fun began... I saw them a LOT for the next hour and a half! The first room smelled, so I moved them, the second room needed vacuumed better, but I didn't have anywhere else to put them that was close enough for them so they stayed there, then the tub was not clean enough for them, then the towels were not actually as white as they wanted them to be... not as WHITE as they wanted them to be??? And "They paid $200 for this room and it was crappy and they could have gone across the street" Blah Blah Blah... Hey... SugarBalls... I checked you in... You didn't pay $200... Why do you keep saying that??? Oh... that is right... cause you paid through an online travel agent, so you might have paid THEM $200, but that doesn't mean you paid US $200... By the end of their fussiness I was ready to go pay for them to stay somewhere else just so I could have some piece and quiet... they did finally go to bed... I hope they enjoy their Express Breakfast! And they said they are NOT going to stay here for all 3 nights, they are leaving today, and they want a refund for their last 2 days that they are not staying! That is nice, take it up with your travel agent... cause we can't do that... sorry...

And I finally have a name for the new girl, well not the newest girl that started last night, but the one before that... she will be.... Obe-1... Because every time I come into work she says "There is just one bin of laundry" and I like when there is some laundry for me to do... and for some reason One Bin of laundry made me think of OBe-1... yeah.. I am dork... so now I have to go change the Hotel Players list... Now the new girl needs a name... I might actually have one for her already... but I will wait and see... hhhmmm... Obe-1... lol
