When I got to work today the second shift girl tells me that a pizza place dropped off a pizza for us... Free... And that I should help myself because she has eaten all she wants and she is going home now... WTF? Are you serious? I sooo want to eat your leftovers, how do I know you washed your hands? Besides that, I can't eat pizza, I have tummy problems... Bleh...
I swear this chick can't do math to save her life... she sat at the desk for at least 20 minutes after I got here working on her end of shift paperwork (it should only take about 3-5 minutes tops) typing on the calculator, writing, erasing, punching those buttons some more... But she finally was finished and left... And when I went to do my paperwork at the end of shift... um... yeah... hers was wrong... I had to totally redo her paperwork, and she forgot to tell me about one transaction that was not listed in the usual spot, but even without that transaction her numbers were all wrong... I did find the missing transaction, fixed all her numbers, and then got the sheet to work out right, but because she messed up all her numbers and I have to add hers to mine and then that number has to match my end of the day total, it took me over 45 minutes to get it right... I was 30 minutes late leaving work because of that... I sooo want to shove some intelligence down her throat, then she won't do this to my paperwork all the time... ok... I'm done bitching about that...LOL... I love my job :)
On to the horrors of TBHTEW... lmao... it was a great night for bad things in TBHTEW... I still don't have a computer at work, so I bring my lappy with me and usually end up needing it for something every single day... so you think they would get us a computer... probably not, they know that 2 of us have lappys and another one borrows her mom's sometimes... Oh well...
One room checked out and had to call their travel agent because there was an unmentionable substance on the sheets in their room... It is unmentionable because I don't want to get in trouble if somehow people figure out who I am and where I work... so... we will not be naming the substance... lol... sorry... but if I found icky stuff on my sheets I would leave also... But I know the Maids cleaned that room, so one of them must have put this stuff on the sheets... hhmmm.... how did they not notice??? Oh well...
There was obviously somebody that was a bit upset about something, because they took a BUNCH of pamphlets and tossed them all over the hallway, I had to go clean those all up... If you have a problem, tell me, don't give me more work to do... Damn people...
There was a DAFI that stayed here and I wanted to hurt her... between me and the other people that work here we must have talked to her over a dozen times in the last week, that was before she checked in... "Hello? Its ____ again... I found your hotel on another website and on that one the rooms are only $91 for the nights that we want to stay there... that is less than what you quoted me... so can you bring your price down to match this?" No, actually we can't, this isn't your local grocery store where they do price matching!!! If you want that price then book it online... I told her that politely when she talked to me on the phone before she checked in... and she says back "Well, what if I find it even cheaper on a different website? Then I would be stuck with that original price...." and this is all said in a whiny voice... Really... if you are this much trouble BEFORE you even get to TBHTEW then I don't really want you to stay here at all!! We will rent out that room whether you are the one that gets it or not.. it was a big weekend... But she did book it... and then the REAL fun started...
There were spiders, but that is ok, because they killed those... There was a single little bug (this is an outside room... sorry, but I can't stand in your doorway and tell all the bugs to go away) in the room, so she couldn't sleep all night long and woke up with HORRIBLE bug bites on her legs... Ok... Sorry... you wanted that outside room and you were also doing things outside all day long, you may have gotten bit then and not noticed, you told me the previous day that you don't have good feeling in your legs... Not my fault... A piece of the ceiling fell on her head... there was blood on the walls? That one I know isn't true because I was in that room before her... Hello? Those are not spots of blood all over your wall, that is called a design pattern on wallpaper... The stupidity baffles me... And then they had a wake up call... So I called at the right time, I was called back 5 minutes later... "Can you please change my wake up call to 45 minutes from now? I didn't sleep long enough so I want to rest a little more..." Ok... sure... NOW I AM A DAMN SNOOZE BUTTON!!!! I am so glad that she is leaving soon... I think later today, while I am home sleeping she will be leaving with her friends... YAAAAAA
The longer I work here, them more I do not ever want to stay in a hotel... And if I do.. I am soooo not going to harass the 3rd shift person, cause they don't want to here from you... not at all... You want towels, ok, you want cups, fine... but you want to tell me every single little thing that is wrong with that room, after I have told you there is nothing I can do about until the manager gets here at 8am, I don't really want to hear from you... sorry... but I don't ... if you are lonely, buy a dog! But I really don't want to stay at any hotels EVER... because I now know how things are done... eeewwww...
That is all I got for today... Have a pleasant, bug-free weekend...

Its been a hot minute... The week prior to 6-26-09
So this is for all the days that I have worked since I last posted... I didn't work the 18 - 21... so that takes care of the fun filled weekend days...lol.. so all you get is the boring weekdays on this one... Sorry... But here we go... Cause it was actually kind of interesting...
In the last week or so I have had:
- Teenagers spray silly string in my pool, so I threatened to throw one in if he didn't stop... he stopped..
- A guy REEKING of weed came up to the front desk and asked if there was anywhere that would delivery him a pizza at 2am... Um.. no.. sorry...
- We now have to use a marker to mark all bills over $10, because during Bike Week $800 in fake bills were passed at a different hotel
- Some guy says that he watched a spider make a web all night long, and then he caught it in the morning and put it in a cup of apple juice... WHY?? you don't know how to squish a spider? And why catch it? Do you think I want it? WTF... DAFI...
- 3 guys hit on me... I wonder if this new haircut will have that effect on females... I need to go out...
- I figured out that one of my second shift girls doesn't do anything... ever... except check people in... we are suppose to do other things... Oh yeah.. she will SAY she has done stuff.. but she hasn't... There was a cigarette butt on the floor of the bathroom when I left one day... when I came back, it was still there, right behind the door... but she signed off on the list that she swept and mopped that bathroom... Ummm... NOPE! She checked in 10 people on her 8 hour shift and did nothing else... I checked in 10 people on my 8 hour shift and still managed to do 5 loads of laundry, sweep and mop the 3 rooms and lobby, Windex the windows and doors, do all the breakfast stuff... Ya... that was some other things that I did, but the point is, we both checked in the same amount of people... but she did NOTHING else... that means that I have to do everything else... That pisses me off...
- There are never enough towels, pillows, or blankets in this hotel... EVER... Really... I have like 20 people come and ask me for towels all in one night, 2 people that needed pillows, 4 people wanted blankets, and I don't know how many wanted ice buckets and cups...
- I had 4 teenagers laying around my hallway till about 6am... I am guessing they wouldn't be aloud to talk if they were in the room with the adults... so out in the hall to annoy me they went...
- People do not believe in keeping there kids in the room with them.. there were 7 young teens out by the pool till about 4am... where were the parents? Did they even know where the kids were? Did they care?
- Charlie is doing well and getting big eating all the mosquitoes that are on the outside of the building...
I think that is it for now.. I have a note somewhere so I don't forget stuff... but I can't find the note... so I might add more later.. we will see...
Have a Great, spiderless day!

6-13-09... I got time... How did THAT happen???
Well OK... Weirdness in TBHTEW... BL just walked in and made a bed on the lowest shelf in the laundry room... About 30 minutes ago... I was in the laundry room, it is actually a laundry/housekeepers/food storage room, it is also where I go to put the danishes on the tray for breakfast and open the large cans of juice so I can pour them into the juice containers... So anyhow... I was in there getting the breakfast stuff set up and my front office door opens, that isn't suppose to happen at 5:30am... and in walks BL... and she says "I'm here to get some piece and quiet" WHAT??? Ok... I don't care what she does as long as she stays out of my way, I had breakfast to get put out and coffee to make... So she then asks me where the cot was... and I told her that I had to put it in a room last night because one of the pullout couches is broken... oh no... so she starts to grab blankets and makes a bed on the bottom shelf of the linen storage shelfs... lol... ok... whatever works for her... she even brought and alarm clock... Ok... If that is what you have to do to sleep so I can go home when it is time, then so be it :)
Ok... Last night all the rooms were rented out despite the fact that last weekend 3 motorcycles were stolen from our parking lot and the local newspaper reported it and said that we do not have surveillance, the night before we only ended up not selling 3 rooms... so I guess that newspaper article didn't do much after all... I told them not to stress about it...
I got most of the laundry done last night here at work.. I now hate doing laundry at my house... I use to love laundry... not so much now...
The "Cute" bikers come in about 3am again tonight... they were once again polite, but they did the lingering stare.. and paused to say hello... I am glad that people only stay here for a night or two... I hate having to explain to "Cute" guys that they are playing to the wrong crowd, it hurts their feeling and then they act grouchy... So since they are only staying for a day or two I don't say anything.. go ahead and flirt... I know that you are only flirting because you have been drinking...lol...
It was very quiet this evening... I expected it to be louder... the Bikers have been partying every night that they stayed here, except last night..
Why is it that nobody can understand that when the vacancy sign is turned off, that means we do not have vacancies???
3 guys came in with a young boy about 1:30am... I didn't have a room for them so they left... as they left I noticed the heavy smell of Weed... wow... know I think I know why the kid was scarfing the pringles..
Well... nothing else good happened... I don't think I even had swimmers tonight :)

6-12-09... The Tweeker, swimmers, and the BEST 3rd shifter EVER
It was an interesting night... It is still Bike Week... who ever came up with this name needs a new job or more education... because it has been going on for more than a week... really! Not that I am complaining, it is keeping me entertained :)
When i got to work there were still some rooms available so that was good, that ment I would have something to do besides clean... I love that... However... that also ment that I would have to deal with DAFI people that do not understand that I am given a "room rate" that is the standard rate that I have to charge... Now, the later in the night that it is I can drop that rate a little, but if you act like a big ol' dick to me, I won't, but if you are nice to me, then I will... this is where your "Did your Momma teach you any manners" skills come in to play... I can NOT drop that rate to $30 when the rate was originally $59.95... But if you have 7 people and I have a room that has 4 beds in it that is going for $109.95 and you have shown up at 2am... well.. I can drop that rate to $89.95... not to bad... and after tax it is only just over $100... that BTW works out to about $14 per person... not to bad of you are polite and use your people skills... but if you are a dick then I won't drop the rate, and you will pay that extra $20... that really isn't to much to pay between 7 people... but $20 is $20 people... that is a case and a half of beer if you are getting the cheap stuff... Soooo... Lets all keep this in mind the next time you roll into town and are looking for a hotel... shall we??? Because that 3rd shift person COULD just tell you that they are full and send you on your way to go to the expensive hotel where you can hope to find something that will cost less than $150 a night... hhhmmm...
ok.. next :)
I have a stack of Pepsi's behind my front desk... YES you can have one.. as a matter of fact, you can have one for each and every person that is staying in your room... just ask... please... you don't have to call me Darling, Huny, Sweety, or anything else! Wow... did you all talk to that guy that was here the other night?? The infamos "Sugarballs"? Maybe I shouldn't have been so nice to him... I think I should go add him to the list of players in my hotel.. The new nickname for anybody that has a big enough set to continually call me terms of endearment is now "Sugarballs"... No... I will not be calling them that to their face, I like my job to much, but I will be thinking it in my head, and I will be smiling :)
Yes... By all means Swim... I can't see you in that pool... and as long as you are not loud and obnoxious and dissturbing to the other guests I will not have to ask you to get out... however... don't drowned... I can't swim that well. BUT... If you ask me if you can swim.. I am going to make you say "You are the best 3rd shift worker EVER" before I tell you that you can swim... and then I will also tell you not to be loud, obnoxious, and don't dissturbe the other guests, because then I will have to make you get out..
Why would you come in here and give me a credit card that doesn't work? Did you REALLY not know? Or where you just hoping it would work?? lol... yeah.. you didn't know.. but you will pay cash and call the card company in the morning, you are just tired right now and you want to get into a room... Ok... whatever :)
The infomercial of the night was about Free Money... who doesn't want free money?? All you have to do is buy this Book!!! And the guy that you are buying it from isn't making ONE SINGLE PENNY!!! Yeah... he is just making lots of dollars... I am sure!!! That book will tell you have to find all kinds of free money online.. hhmmm... sign me up... I want free money! send me that book... but wait... if you have to pay for the book, that means it isn't really free... right??? I feel like this isn't right... ? .... hhmmm... I will have to think about this one... And yes.. I am still laughing about "You'll love my nuts!"
My night was filled with interesting people, I had:
Tweeker guy... he had 2 teenage boys with him, they all went swimming, then his boys went to bed and he wandered about the hotel for the rest of the evening... acting like he was on drugs... hence the name "Tweeker" guy
Then we had the 7 bikers that came in.. 6 guys and 1 lady.. Very polite... All of them... They got a room that had 4 beds, and the room was actually 2 rooms stuck together so she got to have her own room, she was very greatful, she said they all snore..lol.. there was 1 bed in a separate room and 3 bed in the other room... she was laughing at them when they brought their stuff in...
A group of older teens and young twentys that were going to Cedar point the following day... they wanted to know if they were still allowed to have the Pepsi cans, because they had already bought there tickets online so they didn't need them for the discount.. I told them they could have them if they told me I was the best 3rd shift worker ever... they did... so I gave them enough pepsi for each of them... after that every time one of them walked past, they told me I was the best 3rd shift worker ever :) I swear they were moving in here, because they make like 5 trips out to the vehicle to get stuff to bring in...
There is a couple of "Cute" bikers staying at the hotel... the other 2 girls that work here told me about them... and when they did I wondered about the gender of these bikers... Well... I finally saw them... about 3am these 2 cute little guys come wondering in... just cute as a bug they were... I would guess they might about about 22 -25 years old... Dressed in the classic Bad Boy attire, bandanas on their heads, wearing leather, tanned, all that kind of stuff... I just KNOW this is who the girls were talking about... They paused for a moment by the front desk and said "Hello, we are going to bed now, have a lovely evening"... What??? Ok.. Polite, Clean, Good looking, Cute as a Bug, and they did not bring any girls back with them... hhmmm... Ok... I'm going to leave this one alone.. maybe... cause they kind of set my alarm off... just a little... LOL... Then again.. it was only Friday night... maybe they were just weighting their options for the weekend.. because we must not forget, it is Bike Week (or Bike Week and a half bordering on 2 weeks)
There was a guy that stayed at TBHTEW since Wednesday, I think he was checking out today. He was very friendly, he has 2 daughters that are my age, and he stops and days Hello every morning when he gets coffee. He was in the Canadian Navy for some time (I think it was called something else, but I don't remember) and then he worked for a car making company, but he retired a few years back... he was talkative...but nice, so that is ok :)
Charlie is still out there having a great time with all the flyers:) I think he may end up getting so big that he can't fit in his hidey hole if he keeps eating like he does... I guess we will see ;p
I believe that may be all for today... not like that isn't enough I think this may be the longest one yet.. but there were a few charactures in last night... wow...
Latter folks...
ps... spell check isn't working today for some reason... so I may have to come back later and spell check this thing.. I hope it isn't to bad...lol

I had yogurt, a nectarine and crackers for lunch.
I know... we can talk about the necessities for working 3rd shift!! maybe I should look for some pictures... I will have to come back later and add the pictures... it just isn't working right now...
So... The necessities for working 3rd shift are as followes...
-Coffee
-Monster energy drinks
-Sugar Free Rockstar energy drinks
-McDonalds sweet tea
-anything with caffeine
-dark curtains for your bedroom
-somebody to talk to on your way home so you don't fall asleep
-a high tolerance for B.S.
-a low sense of smell because of all the drunk people
I may add to this list at a later date... LMAO

Wednesday night 6-10-09... You'll LOVE my nuts!!!
Ok... first of all.. Infomercial of the night... The Slapchop... The most memorable thing I heard that guy say was "You'll LOVE my nuts!!" WTF??? He also talked about how that thing will chop all kinds of stuff up with just a slap or two... but really?? You'll love my nuts??? Ok... Moving on...
Our Housekeepers/Maids do not speak English, and none of us speak Spanish, sooo... there is a problem... we tryed an online verbal translator... didn't have much luck, they indicated that they didn't understand it... so I told BL about the Google translator, it is great, you can translate from English into about 15-20 other languages, Spanish being one of them... We are now communicating through notes... SG brought her Lappy to work and got the translator up and typed in what needed said, then wrote it out on a piece of paper... It worked! The maids brought down the dirty linen in a more timely fashion than ever before... Hopefully this continues to work for us.
Charlie, our resident outside spider, has gotten bigger again... he shedded his skin for the second time in 2 days... I think... I didn't know they could do that... He is getting fat on all the maskeato like bugs that are outside... every night he builds a new web and eats all the little fliers... and then during the day he hides... I got a good picture of his back finally... I wonder what kind of spider he is... I also found his hiding place for during the day.. it is a hole at the bottom of the window that I watch him through... but I think he is getting to big for his hole, he had a hard time getting in there this morning when it was almost time for me to go home... I watched
him... poor guy... he is getting to big, I wonder where he will go to hide when he can't fit anymore?

Extra post... This one doesn't count as a daily :)
This is an extra post... just a little something that I wanted to throw on here to educate you lovely people that may be reading this.. I think there are actually only 2 right now, but in the future there may be more.. lol.. but OK...
If you know somebody that is working 3rd shift... don't call them when it is time for them to sleep... Lets do the math people... if you go to bed at 10pm and get up at 6am that is 8 hours...right... so if the person you know says that they go to bed at 9am... don't call them before 5pm... 8 hours... they probably won't sleep that long, but give them the benefit... if you call them at noon and try to have a conversation with them... YOU ARE A JERK... If you call them and wake them up and then ask them to do you a favor... OMG... you are the biggest jerk on the planet... Cause really... do the math again... you just called them at 1am... yup... jerk...
There are exceptions to the being awake rule... if you have made arraignments prior for the 3rd shifter to be awake... then that is fine, they have agreed and that is on them... But don't call and ask them to get up and do stuff for you... do they call you at 1am and ask you to bring them stuff? Or for a ride? or whatever??? I don't think so... think about it...
3rd shifters eat at different times than other people... they are not being rude when they turn down your yummy dinner, they probably just had a big bowl of cereal... If you want to feed a 3rd shifter, give them a couple days warning, they will probably be happy to eat with you, they just need to know not to eat before they come to your house... cause when you say "Hey, you want to come over about 6 tomorrow?" they say yes because they wake up at 4-5pm... You are thinking it is dinner time, they are thinking that they will have enough time to wake up, eat breakfast, have coffee, shower and get motivated enough to get out of the house and go visit... they are not thinking about the fact that you will have just slaved over the stove for 3 hours...
When 3rd shifters have the day off you may have to remind them that it is time to go home.. they just don't notice that it is bed time... for you anyways... so when you are getting tired, say something.. they won't get upset... lol...
3rd shifters just don't remember what day it is... they just don't... (or maybe that is my A.D.D.) so when they keep asking you everyday if it is Friday, Wednesday, Monday... whatever day... please don't get mad... they really don't know... lol
I am not sure if 3rd shift makes people have a weird sense of humor, or if you have to have a weird sense of humor to work 3rd shift... but oh well..
OK... I just thought that I should throw those few things out there.. you all have a super night!!

Umm...Yeah...
The title about says it all... Today was so boring that you don't even get a title...
Ok... a couple little things happened... but not enough to even keep me entertained...
But since I promised myself that I would put up a blog for each day that I worked at TBHTEW here you go... grab your pillow...
Nobody checked in while i was working... nobody needed extra towels... nobody needed anything... somebody did order pizza, a guy showed up and asked where the room was :) There were no noise complaints, no wake-up calls... NOTHING
I did get a call from one of those online hotel reservation places... evedently some guy made a reservation, then cancelled it, then desided he wanted to reinstate it... but we don't have a working Fax machine and we don't curently have a computer... so how do we get this reservation??? I don't know...LMAO... I had to actually tell all of that to the person on the phone and ask them to call me back after I called a manager and found out what I was suppose to do... I did and we figured it out... good grief... (BTW... that was the highlight of my evening)
I had so much time on my hands tonight that I got ALL of my list done in 1/2 the time that I usually do, all the paperwork is done, everything is clean, everything... it is all done... Calvin got the laundry alll done before he left... so that was finished before I even got here... And I checked my e-mail... and I am now blogging because there is NOTHING left to do... Oh well... I guess this makes up for the nights when I have to much to do...
I made a new friend... his picture is at the end of this post, he was in the bathroom when I was mopping... he ran away when I tryed to mop him up, he didn't like that to much :) he smells nice now...
Well... I guess that is enough of me talking about nothing... cause that is really what happened at TBHTEW tonight... oh... and I forgot my lunch at home also... I'm hungry... and tired... Don't forget to check out my new friend ---->

Ps... Tonight's infomercial is about incontinence... Do you know that if you have Medicaid you can have your incontinence supplies delivered right to your home? No more embarrassing trips to the store... they can deliver that stuff discreetly to your home... yup... they can... I heard all about it while I was at work today... I heard about it ALOT... over and over and over and over again... wow... and over and over and over and over again ... :)

I know I should have put this up DAYS ago...
But something really bad happened at TBHTEW and I just didn't want to blog about it... I still am not going to blog about it.. Sorry... Nobody died, that isn't it... Nothing like that... And nobody was injured... so don't worry about... everybody that stayed at TBHTEW was physically safe...
Soooo... Still bike week... and we had some people hanging out by the pool and having some drinks... they were having a REALLY good time..lol... and one of them (a gentleman) decided to strip down to his skivvies and jump in... he was a healthy man, and friendly, I ask him to please not drown, because I don't swim well.... He didn't...
There was a guy that showed up about 1:30am and asked for a room... we were booked solid, he asked if I could call another hotel that he frequents and see if they had any rooms... I did and they did... The amusing part to this (well, sort of amusing but mostly annoying) was that he kept calling me terms of endearment... I have not been called "Darling" "Huny" and "Sweetheart" so many times in such a short amount of time in my life!!! I wonder if he would have gotten offended if I referred to him as "Sugarballs" ??
At one point in time I was up cleaning the tables/windows/doors in the lobby, and there was an infomercial on... I don't usually pay much attention to the TV in the lobby, it is nice background noise so I don't have to be there all night in silence, but I don't pay attention to it... But this one infomercial really made me sit up and pay attention... "Your baby can learn to communicate/read by 19 months for only $19.95" or something like... I am in the wrong business... I taught my kid to read entire books by the age of 18 months... like Dr. Seuss books... that is an entire month earlier than what they are advertising... hhhmmmm..... I think I should market my idea... lol
We have a pet spider at TBHTEW... he lives on the outside of the window of the office... I think that somebody keeps washing his web down, but he keeps building a new one... So when I think about it I take a picture of him (or maybe her, I don't know what sex the spider is, SG named it) I think I will start putting up random pictures of Charlie so that you can all get better acquainted with him/her... BTW.. the previous picture of a spider that is on here, that is Charlie :)
I am getting better at putting out the breakfast things... I was told not to put the cinnamon rolls on the tray, those just get put in a basket, I don't even have to take them out of there plastic container, so that saves a little time, and the danishes do go on the tray... I have my coffee making down to an art now...lol... and I no longer spill orange juice all over the counter every time that I open it and pour it... This was seriously taking me a little time before...lol... ya... after cleaning stuff for hours and running back and forth to make sure that there is nobody at the front desk that needs help, by the time it is 5-5:30am and time to get that breakfast stuff out there I was a little dysfunctional (OK, shut up, a little more dysfunctional than usual...lmao) But now... I am doing OK... I think :)
So... What happened last weekend in the hotel was That...

Bike week begins...
Today was the first day that I worked for Bike week... it was fairly uneventful for me... not so much for the others... We were overbooked... so BL had to stay late, she worked 16 hours today.... SG had to stay till 2am, she was NOT happy... We have a new guy that is going to be working 2nd shift, Calvin, as in Calvin the underwear maker... cause he makes me think of an underwear model...lol... hey, nobody else gets to keep or pick their names on here... to bad for him... I think that Princess works with me tonight, straight guys make me nervous, so we will see how that goes! I do fine when I am around them for a little bit, but after a while they start to bother me... So... Lets get on to what happened at The Best Hotel There Ever Was...
I don't know if our HouseKeepers have forgotten how to restock the rooms, or they just didn't feel like it... BUT... I had at least 6 guests come down and tell me that they didn't have towels, soap or shampoo stuff in their rooms... so I hooked them up with all that stuff... And I smiled while I did it :) Yeah me...
I saw the future of my oldest son... there is an animation convention in town... and I there was a computer geek in out hotel trying to find a different hotel to go to since ours was full... and this poor guy couldn't dress himself to save his life... his cloths didn't match, he wasn't wearing shoes, his hair needed brushed and cut, and he talked really smart...lol... OMG... it was my oldest son in 10 years...lol... AND he had 2 friends with him... one was wearing a costume!! and the other one had long hair and was also oddly dressed... Yes... I saw my sons future... but it wasn't bad... cause he obviously had enough money to be able to travel to an animation convention... so that is fine :)
I had a DAFI in TBHTEW tonight... They called down to me at the front desk and asked me if I would please do something about all the motorcycles coming in and out of the parking lot... HELLO... It is Bike Week... What the hell do you expect?? I am soooo sorry... I will go outside and stand at all 3 of the entrances and ask those bikers to please turn theirs bikes off and coast into the parking lot so you can get your beauty sleep since you decided to book a room during BIKE WEEK!!! O.M.G. .... Yes... I DO Love my Job...
You know that sign out front that says Vacancy... It lies... We don't actually have any rooms available.. I'm sooo sorry... but for some reason unknown to me, I am not allowed to turn it off... I'm just not... when you come in here and ask me for a room I have to tell you where you can go get a room... cause I magically know this info... or I can find out... really I can... lol... And when you walk in here with a beer in your hand and your 2 obnoxious buddy's and ask for a room really loudly and I try to tell you where you can get a room but you don't listen... you don't deserve a room anyways... BTW... Thank your buddy for listening... cause he got you a room next door... because he did listen... and wasn't obnoxious... DAFI...
Bike Week = Bikes - Babes - Beer ... right?? How about another B word for you... how about Bail bonds man?? How about 4am and a very nice polite young man showing up at my front desk for a phone book so he can look up Bail Bonds? That wasn't something I was anticipating... Interesting... yes.. anticipating...no... Poor guy, his fellow Bike club member got popped with a DUI... so he had to go bail him out... but first he had to wait for him to be processed... they were both staying at TBHTEW so of coarse he had to come up here for help... and I did.. I was a great night auditor... I got him a phone book, and directed him toward the nearest ATM... He was very polite and explained what the patches on his jacket meant... I felt bad for him... But really... his friend should not have been driving drunk... I have lost enough friends from drunk driving that I don't feel bad for his friend at all... dumb ass should have gotten a taxi...
